Jags Collecting Donations for Tornado Victims

The University of South Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ is collecting items for William Carey University students displaced by Saturday's tornado in Hattiesburg, Miss.
"There are currently 80 William Carey students staying temporarily on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi," Dr. Michael Mitchell, USA vice president for student affairs, wrote in a Wednesday email to members of the South community. "This number may rise to 250 by the end of this week."
The displaced students are in need of:
Walmart Gift Cards
Bedding and Bath:
- Extra Long Twin Sheets
- Towels
- Pillows
Personal Care:
- Toothbrush/Toothpaste
- Comb/Brush
- Deodorant/Shampoo/Soap
- Feminine Products
Items will be collected until Friday, Jan. 27, at noon. They can be dropped off at the SGA Office, Student Center, 214. A delegation of South volunteers will deliver the items to the Southern Miss campus on Friday afternoon.
