It is a pleasure to greet you to our vibrant, innovative, and entrepreneurial
community of students, faculty, and staff. The College is a hub of cutting-
edge research, hands-on learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration, all
geared toward enabling you to realize your potential while solving the many
challenges of today鈥檚 world. The opportunities to make a meaningful impact
with a South engineering degree are limitless.
Our mission is to provide a world-class education that meets the needs of
the 21st century; one that is grounded in the fundamentals and buoyed by
a foundation of critical thinking, creativity, and leadership skills. We are
proud to offer state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated faculty who are leaders in
their fields, and a curriculum designed to be both rigorous and adaptable to
produce engineers who can meet the changing demands they will
experience in their career. Through partnerships with industry, government,
